Crone Dancing - Being seen as we age - Led by Jan Jeans

As we age in today’s society we can lose our visibility. But the Crone is responsible for keeping the world turning with her wisdom, wit and  a sprinkling of wickedness. 

Through the medium of Open Floor creative dance we will celebrate our Crone energies with each other with passion, laughter  and creativity. We will show ourselves and witness each other’s beauty in this amazing, aging body that can still express oneself through the love of dance.

Open Floor is a form of creative dance that provides an exploration of free movement and of oneself through dance. There are no steps to learn. You are encouraged to tune into your body and stay present, fully experiencing each moment as we move, breathe, and dance, with great music and a teacher to guide us. In this practice of embodiment, we harness the magic of the myriad ways that the heart, mind and body communicate, often without us realising. There is a growing acknowledgement that these 3 parts of self are all connected and are in constant communication with one another. If we pay attention to each, and deeply listen, we can gain useful insight and understanding which can enable growth.
